Daly Community Library

The Library can be found in the Community Centre on the Compound and contains over 7,000 books, fiction and non-fiction, all in the English language.

The subscription library, running since 1978, is open to anyone living in Abu Dhabi and its members come from many nationalities. It is funded entirely by subscriptions and is staffed by volunteers. The income is used to buy hardback books - fiction and non-fiction for adults and children and to pay the rent and insurance. There is no profit.

Each month an average of 15 new publications are added and the latest bestsellers can be found on our shelves. The non-fiction section contains biographies, travel, history, cookery and books on many other subjects. The children's books are colour coded according to various age groups and of course we keep up-to-date with the latest "Harry Potter" series!

We have a large number of books for loan to members.If there is a specific book of interest to you, please feel free to search if we have it in stock.
