The C.S.I. Tamil Christ Church is operating under the governing principles of the Church of South India, the largest Protestant Church of India. The formation of CSI, its constitution, faith and creed have been concisely described in the previous page.
The CSI Tamil Christ Church was established in Abu Dhabi with a clear objective to cater to the spiritual needs of the Tamil Christians based in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and foster brotherhood and common fellowship. Right from the time the first CSI Tamil Church was started at other Emirates, where Churches stand as a testimony. This missionary zeal spread to Abu Dhabi and thus the CSI Tamil Christ Church blossomed with a humble beginning on 13 May, 1994 and was officially inaugurated on 4 November 1994.
